Event Venues in Bergen

Allmuen runs the historic Schøtstuene at Bryggen in partnership with Museum Vest – the Hanseatic Museum. The venue has both original rooms and rooms rebuilt after the city fire of 1702. Solid wooden floors and original carved furniture create a warm, stately atmosphere and give the evening a personal, memorable feel.

Schøtstuene has three separate rooms, so there are several options depending on the number of guests and the occasion.

Whether you’re dreaming of a romantic wedding, want to celebrate a company anniversary, a Christmas party, a birthday or a milestone in life, or simply want to gather the people you love, Schøtstuene is the place. Under the distinctive wooden ceiling we can host everything from intimate gatherings of 30 guests to Christmas parties and large celebrations for up to 130 people.

Let's put together a meal that's perfect for your occasion at Schøtstuene. We offer a selection of custom-designed party menus, each tailored to you and your guests.

At Schøtstuene the venue rental is 9,500 kr. This includes your own private room, serving staff and cleaning. There is also an elevator for wheelchair users.
