A festive atmosphere at Allmuen or Schøtstuene.
You can celebrate your 2026 Christmas party in Bergen at two of our venues. At Allmuen by Torgallmenningen we take groups of up to 35 guests in the restaurant. At Schøtstuene you get your own private venue in historic rooms, with space for 30 to 130 guests.
The menu is three or five courses made with seasonal ingredients. At Schøtstuene you can also choose a Christmas buffet with classic Christmas dishes. Read more about what we serve under Food and drink.
November and December fill up quickly, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. Please contact us early if you have a specific date in mind.

At Schøtstuene we offer menus for both small and large private parties and company events, from a classic three-course meal to a more generous five courses.

Of course, we tailor the food to accommodate allergies, intolerances, and other dietary needs.
The menus can be combined with a customized beverage package.
Private events
At Schøtstuene the venue rental is 9,500 kr. This includes your own private room, serving staff and cleaning.
Here you’ll find an atmospheric and historic setting for your event, with plenty of space to gather your guests for a pleasant evening. The venue can also be arranged for mingling, entertainment, music, and dancing.

During the Christmas party season we serve winter-inspired menus built on the best seasonal ingredients. The menus follow the season and are an alternative to classic Christmas food.

Christmas parties at Allmuen run as part of our regular restaurant service. Simply book a table and enjoy a festive Christmas evening in the restaurant.

Family Christmas Parties
We also welcome families who want to celebrate a Christmas party together. At Allmuen there's room for groups of up to 35 guests. Come early in the evening and it works for both adults and children.
